Nemo Studio(KR) (“we”, “us”, “our”) complies with applicable laws, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information for users of the JLPT Vocab - Japanese N1 to N5 app (Korean title: JLPT 일본어 단어 암기 N1 - N5, package name net.nemostudio.jlpt, the “App”).
This policy applies to the App published on Google Play and the App Store under the developer name Nemo Studio(KR).
The App requires no sign-up or login and does not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Your study progress and settings are stored only on your device.

- The App does not create accounts and never asks for your name, date of birth, contacts, or other directly identifying information.
- Study progress (completed sets, correct/incorrect answers, quiz history), your selected JLPT level, and language/theme settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
- Word pronunciation uses your device’s built-in text-to-speech; no audio data is sent externally.
- Device details pre-filled in a support email can be edited or removed before you send it.
2. Advertising and Advertising ID
The App is free and may show Google AdMob interstitial ads at natural breaks, such as after finishing a study set. The App requests non-personalized ads only.
On Android, your advertising ID (GAID) may be shared with AdMob and Firebase to serve ads and measure ad performance. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset or delete advertising ID
On iOS, the App does not request tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), so it does not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not “track” you — it does not link data collected in the App with data from other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising or ad measurement.
If you purchase JLPT Pro, ads are not shown and no advertising data is collected through AdMob.
3. Retention

4. Service Providers and International Transfers
We use the following service providers to operate the App. Each processes data under its own privacy policy, and data may be transferred to servers outside your country.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties except as described above, or when required by law through a valid legal process.
5. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- Access, correct, or delete information we hold by contacting us below. Data collected anonymously by Firebase or AdMob cannot be linked to a specific person and may not be individually deletable.
- Delete on-device data by uninstalling the App.
- Opt out of advertising ID use by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in the device settings described in Section 2 (Android).
- Opt out of analytics by contacting us; we will guide you through the process.
The App is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
6. Security
- The App does not store account or study data on our servers, and all external communication is encrypted over HTTPS.
- We use the official SDKs provided by each service provider, and no server secret keys are included in the App.
- Support emails are managed in an account accessible only to our staff.

8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will announce the update in the App and on this page. Significant changes to the data we collect or how we use it will be announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
