These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the JLPT Flashcard app (“App” or “Service”) provided by Nemo Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Overview
The JLPT Flashcard App is a vocabulary study tool designed to help users prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). The App provides vocabulary flashcards for levels N1 through N5 and stores your study progress locally on your device.
2. Eligibility
- The Service is available to users of all ages without restriction.
- You must comply with the terms of the app store platform through which you obtained the App (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
3. Permitted Use
You may use the App to:
- Study vocabulary for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Browse and interact with content within the App
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content within the App without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App
- Use the App in any way that infringes on the rights of others
5. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including designs, graphics, and vocabulary data — is the intellectual property of Nemo Studio or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited license to use the App and do not transfer any ownership of intellectual property rights.
6. Disclaimers
6.1 Service Quality
The App is provided on an “AS-IS” basis. We make no warranties regarding:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
- The completeness or accuracy of vocabulary data
- The achievement of any particular study goal
6.2 Data Loss
We are not responsible for any loss of study data resulting from device replacement, App deletion, or device reset. We recommend keeping separate records of any data you consider important.
7. Service Changes and Termination
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will endeavor to provide notice through the app store where possible.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through an App update. Updated Terms take effect from the date they are posted. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
